Transportation Providers
Transdev is the broker for NEMT services across the Hawaiian Islands. We focus on providing safe and timely transportation to give Medicaid and Medicare members more flexibility, freedom and control over their personal health. In Hawaii, we need a strong network of independent drivers and transportation providers.

Credentialing Program for Hawaii NEMT Providers

All in-network Transportation Providers are required to complete credentialing with Transdev.

Get set-up in four easy steps:

1. Onboard:

Complete the Credentialing Request Form and License Agreement (EULA) found here: https://wkf.ms/44t7mC0 no later than August 15, 2024.

    • Look for a confirmation of your account setup via email within a few days of submitting your application.
    • Do not attempt to log in and reset your password prior to receiving your confirmation email. This may lock out your account and require additional setup time.

2. Train:

Participate in credentialing software training 4pm HST Thursday, September 10th. Click here to register for training.
We will provide login instructions for the credentialing software the day of your training.

3. Submit:

Once your account is set up, look for an email prompting you to log in. After logging in, submit the required driver and vehicle information through the credentialing exchange.

Transdev reviews your submissions and provides you with a credentialing approval letter. Please keep this approval letter for your records.

4. Vehicle inspection:

All vehicles must be inspected regardless of the age of your current inspection. Click here to schedule a vehicle inspection with the Hawaii Network Management agent.

If you need help with the request form or with signing up for software training, please complete a ProCredex Provider Support Form Request at https://wkf.ms/4bWQHJ1.

Transportation Provider Responsibilities

Safety First: At the start of your day, inspect your vehicle to ensure the interior and exterior are clean, and has everything needed to manage travel for the day. Make certain passengers with children have the state-approved child seat and that all passengers are wearing their seatbelts. Wheelchair devices must be properly secured before taking off.

Be on Time, Every Time: Timeliness is critical for transportation providers. If the member is not present within the 15-minute window, call or message Transdev using your tablet device to report the no show before proceeding to your next pick up.

Complete the Trip: At each pick-up location, get the member’s electronic signature and finalize the trip using your tablet device. This allows speedy claims submissions and accurate billing.

Incident Reporting: If an accident or incident occurs while a member is in your vehicle, immediately fill out an incident report for investigation by the Transdev Operations team, and if necessary, the local authorities.

Customer Service Excellence: Be courteous, patient and helpful to all passengers.
